Excerpt of the Minutes of the Jan 21, 2012 Meeting

The meeting was conducted on Saturday, 21 January 2012 at Mila Alcanzaren-Rapanut’s place from 2 P.M. to 9 P.M., attended by Benedict Rigor, Quirino Bolor, Bing Alcid, Marieta Buenafe-Lanas, Mila Alcanzaren-Rapanut, Pilar Bio-Barreras, Victoria Vasquez-Baruela, Grace Cabunoc-Astudillo, Eugene Faminialagao-Gadon and Erlinda Alcantara-Narciso.

Irene Tejero-Aquino was able to chat online with the Working Group via SKYPE while Eugene Lampa-Romero thru long-distance call.

1. 2012 Easter Sunday (08 April 2012)

a. All ASAT Class 1978 are advised to attend the 2012 Easter Sunday meeting/get-together.

b. Please bring your own baun.

c. Tentative venue is Mila Alcanzaren-Rapanut's place but if someone will shoulder transportation expenses, we will move the venue to any BEACH resort in Ilocos Sur/Norte, La Union or Pangasinan.

d. Main objective: To encourage batchmates to attend every meeting/get-together.

e. Please contact as many batchmates as we can and convince them to attend succeeding activities.

2. 2012 Grand Reunion Homecoming (30 Dec 2012)

a. All are advised to attend.

3. 2013 Easter Sunday (31 April 2013)

ASAT Class 1978 Jade (35^th) Anniversary

a. Irene Tejero-Aquino (Canada-base) will host the affair.

b. Bangued-base batchmates were assigned to assist in the purchasing, cooking and preparation of foods.

c. Ladies are encouraged to attend together with their husbands. Please do not bring small kids (elementary level and below).

d. Amenities needed like plates and other kitchen and dining utensils was assigned to Amelia Ducayag-Reynante (Candon-base) (hope this is ok with her).

e. Eugene Lampa-Romero (Hong Kong-base) and Benilda Alcantara (USA-base) and probably with Mary Jane Raniaga-Pagoli (Canada-base, Anabel Jaramilla-Pastolera (Canada-base) and other US-Canada-Singapore-Indonesia base batchmates will shoulder Parlor Game Prizes.

f. The working group will try to contact our former teachers and family of deceased classmates to attend as guests.

g. We will look for someone who is willing to finance T-Shirts for the 35^th Anniversary.

3. 2013 Grand Reunion Homecoming (Dec 2013)

a. We will no longer host this affair but all are advised to attend.

We are not getting any younger,
